I work with MIT Group in South Africa, a manufacturer of metallurgical and laboratory equipment, including sample preparation systems, fire assay equipment, XRF and AAS analytical instruments, and turnkey container laboratory solutions. Remote gold operations in Alaska typically face high costs and long turnaround times when sending samples to external labs. MIT's container lab is a fully equipped mobile metallurgical laboratory built into a shipping container that can be deployed directly on site.
